Safe Summer Skin
SPF (Sun Protection Factor) rating indicates the degree to which a sunscreen protects the skin from direct UVB rays.
UVB rays cause skin redness, sunburn and most of nonmelanoma skin cancers.
UVA rays must also be considered for skin safety and premature skin aging. UVAs are responsible for premature aging, wrinkles, irreversible DNA damage and malignant melanoma skincancer.
We strongly recommend the use of a broad-spectrum sun protection against both UVA and UVB rays to preserve skin health and prevent premature skin aging.
